i called CPF Board just this morning to clarify some issues with regards to the CPF education loan repayment. & now, my balance sheet has a $25,ooo liabilities without any asset base! muahaha~ I have already budgeted a portion of my income to repay this loan in the quickest time! & of cos, being in this industry, I have also invested a substantial portion of my income to help me cope with the rising inflation and to save up for early retirement! : ) i have already calculated for myself, i would need at least a million dollars to retire comfortably with inflation and the time value of money factored in. heh.
i learnt a lot during this month. you name it. but, i am not giving up just cos' of these setbacks : ) these will just make me stronger than ever.
currently i am also taking up a tuition assignment so that i will not forget all i've learnt for the past 6 years. i'm teaching accounts at a diploma level and it's really back to basics. it's like a refresher course for me as well and i enjoy teaching her cos' i could see that she really wants to learn : ) i even have intention of opening up a tuition class! muahaha~ & before i decide to become a financial services consultant, i seriously thought of being a WEDDING PLANNER! lol~ i want my job to bring meaning to a person's life and from then, i know being an auditor is not what i really want : )
i took the step of faith and here i am, enjoying every moment of my job! nobody says it's gonna be easy, but i wont give up trying! : )
