my first driving lesson was uber fun! was introduced to all the parts of the car and made to drive around the circuit, it was really fun! my instructor is a really nice and patient man for the fact that he answered all my silly questions and handled me very patiently! muahaha~

i'm quite sure i'm blacklisted from his list for all the weird questions i asked.

and auditors-to-be should maintain a questioning mind, no? lol~

i'm doing some preparation and reading up for my project tomorrow at kopi bean. i'm looking forward to my next driving lesson on friday already! so fun! i love driving lessons! : )

it's mid-week already and recess is gonna be over real soon! omg, i don wanna go back to school : (

i think it's time you do something about your life, now. nobody can help you if you don bother even helping yourself. you still have a long way to go, why ruin your life like tat i wonder.

if i have a choice, i wanna run away from home to a faraway land and not come back anymore. and you wanna know the reason, it's all because of you. i cant bear seeing you like tat and not being able to help. do u ever understand how we feel? have u ever for a moment spare a thought for us? have you?

oh what an eventful and fruitful weekends! : )

celebrated my mom's 48th bday and we got her a pretty bonia bag. hope she likes it, i really think it will suit her perfectly! happy birthday mom.

went to the dentist to have my teeth polished and cleaned on saturday! had to endure the pain of going under the drills, OMG, it's terribly painful i tell you! but all the pain is worthwhile when you see the beautiful smile again : ) *beams* & & &... the dentist told me not to be complacent just cos' my set of teeth is straight and nice heh. i still have to return to visit her every 9 months, not 9 years! muahahaha~

i think i like this dentist! : )

but just a session of about 1/2 hour costs a freaking 200 bucks, this is really crazy. i didn't know going to the dentist can be THAT expensive. oh well, at the very least, the dentist is a nice mommy-to-be! : )

and on sunday, we went to Dragon Gate to satisfy our dim sum cravings. ah zi was also there and gerl, ur green dress is damn nice! i like~ it's high time u start wearing all your dresses, you look so sweet in them! : ) & i think we ordered a tad too much and had a hard time finishing them. we were practically filled to the brim and there u go, an overdose of dim sum. lol.

thereafter, went to ECP for some cycling and to make ourselves feel less guilty for gobbling up so many dim sums. lol~ we ordered about 20+ different dim sums and it's just the both of us. muahaha~ weather is good and that made cycling even more enjoyable : )

life is a balance of work and play (and shop!). after havin' fun at the beach, it's down to some serious work. did some revision for AA304 and completed some notes, and just when i thought my day is about to end, we decided to watch AMERICAN HISTORY X. it's damn nice! OMG. i never thought i would like movies of this sort, but well, i really like this one : )

on a totally random note, we webcam-ed with ah zi yesterday and both of us agree it's fun! ah zi, quick go get a webby cam! muahahaha~

alright, the sun is out. i've a feeling today is gonna be a great sunny day with ah zi! : ) 1st driving lesson later! i'm soooooooo excited! : )

it's 8.50am early in the morning.

& I am already comfortably seated at Macdonalds with my laptop, a copy of the straits times and all my study materials : ) in my 23 years of life on planet earth, i have never been half as disciplined as now. muahahaha~

then again, maybe not.

look what i'm doing right at this moment! i'm busy replying sms, reading ST, playing with my Facebook and my books and notes are still snugly hidden in my bag! see no evil! lol~ so much about being disciplined! in a nutshell, i'm the laziest person on the face of this earth! : )

today is my mom's 48th bird day! happy bday and thank you mom. i might not be the best daughter around but in all that i do, i want the best for all of you. enjoy this very special day mom, you deserve it : )

A journey of a thousand mile begins with a single step.

my laptop died on me this morning. just when i was so motivated to start on my report, my laptop died : (

was totally freaked out when the yellow screen kept reappearing and the screen just hanged for the longest time. and being a total idiot at IT does not help at all. i didn't know what was wrong and naturally, i could do nothing to help. the feeling of helplessness was hard to take. i didn't know what was wrong, how to fix the problem and who to look for.

but ... thank you for being a guardian angel : ) now, my problem's solved! & my laptop is revived once again! yays! i would feel so handicapped without a laptop for the weekends. thank you for going out of the way just to put my worried mind at ease : )

made a trip to DINO cake house and cafe (the place i used to work!) to buy some cakes and pastries to thank the person who saved my laptop : ) they didn't have any inkling as to who i was and it took them a very long time to finally recall who i was. lol~ it was really nice to see them all again. it's been so long. and i still miss their cakes each time we drive pass their cake shop. royal chocolate slice, durian well and their cheese tarts are on the top of my list! : )

alright, i shall go do up my report since my laptop is in good working condition now : ) i shall sayang my laptop even more now : )

the comments for the 306 presentation came as a surprise! we did surprisingly well and to think we were absolutely clueless about all the answers to the questions! : ) phew~ this is definitely a good start and yes, i will start attending lectures from now on. i promise. lol.

IT'S RECESS! omg, it's finally HERE!

and to mark the first day of recess, i went on a crazy shopping spree! muahahaha~ i came home with 3 dresses and a damage of about 200 bucks. lol~ the dresses are soooo pretty and they fit so nicely. so i reckon i just HAD to bring them all home! : ) and that makes me one very happy (and guilty) gerl at the end of the day!

AH ZI!!!!!!!!!! 50% sale @ Ness!!!! Grab it before it's too late gerl! muahahaha~ i'm sucha bad influence but gerl, u really have to head down and see for yourself! all prices slashed! heh! : )

shopping is so therapeutic. rejuvenated all of a sudden, come what may! : )

& to add on, i'm glad i attended today's lecture. with full concentration, i find myself understanding the lecture although i've been skipping lectures for the past 3 weeks! muahaha~ thou shall not skip lectures anymore! : )

i'm gonna have an eventful and fun-filled recess ahead!

and i'm proud i did not succumb to the evil temptation of skipping lessons today! im giving myself a pat on my shoulder. heh.

my EY partner informed me of the CNY lunch tomorrow and although i would really love to join the team for the gathering, i feel it's also high time i start faithfully attending my lectures. and as painful as it is, i chose to go for the latter. i miss all my lovely seniors. they must be real busy with work cos my partners and seniors were all still in office when i sms-ed them at 9pm! is this gonna happen to me.. soon? heh : )

one more day! one more day! one more day! and it's RECESS WEEK!!! and before i even know it, half the semester is over already. another half to go. it's THAT fast.

OMG! i just spent the last 4 hours reading one pathetic chapter!!!!!! *pulls hair* i feel so unmotivated to study for a mere 7.5% quiz, somebody save me please. it's just 7.5%, 7.5%, 7.5% so each question is even less than 1%! muaahahha~ the effort does not commensurate with the weightage for the quiz!

on a happier note, i am starting my FIRST practical lesson next monday! whee~ and just the mere thought makes me excited already! woohoo~ & my aim is to obtain my driving license before i start work in july : ) that will be purrrrfect! : ) i wanna be able to drive! : )

i am one happy gerl. but right now, i am stressed. cos' i'm not feeling any pressure for tml's quiz though i am barely halfway through my revision. this is evident cos' i can still afford to spend 15 minutes typing this entry! OMG. may the lady luck be with me tomorrow. heh.

i am back from Bintan! and i almost didn't wanna return to singapore just because the moment i'm back, it's time to face the music - quiz time. what a dread. argh! so many chapters of readings translated to a pathetic 7.5% and it's only 10MCQs. i shall go into the lecture hall and pray for good luck instead. heh.

whee~ i love my Dior perfume and i'm gettin' my hands on my Ralph Lauren Romance soon! thank you so much! and nice fragrance is really a good way to start the day isn't it? : )

went to church yesterday and it feels really good to be back again. the praise and worship, meaningful sermon, joyful christians and even the flipping of bible seem all so familiar. and for the whole two hours, my eyes were transfixed at the pastor. the word of god is just so powerful and it cuts right through the heart. there's no greater love than this. and i especially like this quote, "where thy treasure is, there will your heart be." Matthew 6:21

i woke up at about 930am SG time but in Bintan it's only 830am : ) it seems like i have one more hour on hand. muahaha~

breakfast was awesome i tell you, with so many varieties of bread i am totally spoilt for choice and i ended up with one of each! i ate more than ten different types of bread! once i start, i just can't stop! bread and butter and jam is my happy food, best combination for breakfast. i love.

now i'm doing up some revision for the quiz and later we're heading off to the beach. i pray for sunny day! : )

my printer had to throw tantrums at this very moment when i am printing my notes! argh! no ink, no paper. OMG! this is a classic example of what it means by being 'suay'. lol~ but nvm, since i'm in a good mood today, i shall not let this affect me. *breathe in breathe out* i'm happy! : ) cos my printer is spoilt, has no ink and i run outta paper! muahahahaha~

and today i went to the fish reflexology thing! it's extremely ticklish i tell you! with all the small lil fishes swimming around your legs, they have no idea how ticklish it is! but it's fun! go try it! : )

Happy Chinese New Year to all! : )

Chinese New Year was a simple affair for me as I only had to visit my grandma's place and that's basically my agenda for CNY.

My dad aged so much. i had difficulty trying to see through my tears and trying hard not to let them fall. but in my heart, i'm glad. cos' this time, he looked so much happier and healthier. be happy dad, i'm sorry i haven't been a good daughter to you. i'm really sorry.

watched Kung Fu Dunk and Ah Long P/L and i wanna watch CJ7! heard good reviews about the movie, i hope i wont be disappointed.

had really bad cramps over the CNY and it was so bad i can only lie on my bed and silently cringed in pain. and i had to delay doing my project cos' i couldn't even sit upright for a few minutes without feeling the pain. it's that bad. so now, i gotta make up for lost time by doing up by project in the quickest time for compilation. i really don like AA306, it's like greek to me! don even know if i'm doing the right thing and that's bad. i've never felt so helpless, i need to start doing something about it.

i had my first time on the roads yesterday. drove along the straight roads and across the traffic light! yes, i had my hands on the steering wheel and singlehandedly, i controlled the car and navigate it across the traffic light! OMG, the adrenaline rush and the excitement is priceless! : ) i cant wait to start my driving lessons NOW! now now now! maybe i'm not as hopeless as my friends make me out to be! lol~ but if you're sitting in the car, please top up your insurance : ) have more faith in me alright? : ) driving can't be that difficult yeah heh.

CNY has been great! everything went well, and although all the shops are closed (and still closed), i'm kept occupied all day long, be it reading, going online, watching movie or going out. i'm one happy gerl, just that AA306 is driving me crazy.

ah zi, i finished my nineteen minutes! like finally! you better pick up your neglected book again! lol~ i'm gonna start on another book, as soon as i finish up my part of the project. i call you later in the night to discuss hao ma? : ) and i sent ya some information for reference, for your part! : ) i miss u gerl.

I PASSED MY BASIC THEORY TEST!!! lalala~

i was so confident of all my answers and just about 15 minutes into the test, i find myself walking out of the room, beaming with joy. and i was so sure that all my responses were correct i didn't even check through my answers. whee~ it feels so good, to know that you've given your best and gotten the result you wanted. like they say, you reap what you sow.

so now i've to decide for myself on what's the next step to take : ) it'll be a fun and exciting journey and i'm thrilled at the thought of it. a driving license will come in handy in the near future and i capitalized it as an asset : )

it's sucha bliss to be able to just lie in bed and do some reading. and that's how i spent my lazy afternoon. i'm so close to completing my nineteen minutes. a very good read. ah zi, it's time to pick up your nineteen minutes! it's been neglected way too long! lol~

thank you for all the well wishes before my basic theory test today : ) thankfully, i did not disappoint. whee~

will be going out for a late night movie after reunion dinner tomorrow and first up - Ah Long Pte Ltd. it better be good.

going for a short getaway to Bintan from the 14 Feb to 16 Feb and that simply means i'm skipping lessons again! heh. i've not been a good student this semester and ah zi realizes it too! i'm skipping way too many lesson and it scares me to realize that i don't feel guilty like i used to anymore. that spells trouble but trust me to do my best when exams are near : ) i wont wanna let myself down either. heh.

i'm gonna really start doin' some serious work. instead of bummin' around and do nothing, it's time to really start with my project. i know i can do this if i put my heart to it, but i don understand why i'm sucha lazy worm. always finding excuses just so as to procrastinate awhile longer and to stay away from it as long as i possibly can. summer oh summer, just do it!

tml i'm going to church and i'm pretty excited about it : ) hope everything turns out well. whee!

alright, it's project time! it might well be one of my last project work in NTU, i'll give it my best shot, nothing less : )

i wanna be the best i can be. nothing less than the very best is ever good enough.

i passed the trial tests for my basic theory, omg i must be a genius! lol~ happyhappyhappy! yays! and now, let's just wait and see what happens on the 5th feb when i take my actual basic theory test. whee!

school is borin'. totally.

perhaps thats the life of a final year student, just drift around and wait to graduate. heh. i'm actually looking forward to life after graduation, thou my seniors kept telling me that it's always best to be a student.

i'm gonna work real hard to build my career, other things can just wait.

so happyhappyhappy for god-knows-what reason. i'm just happy, very happy : )
