it's sunday already? heh.
i've been bumming around doing nothing 'cept that i watched a lot of tv! and i mean ALOT! i can only have ah zi to blame! she recommended me many nice hongkong drama serials and got me hooked to the tv as a result! muahaha~ even as i'm having my breakfast/lunch/dinner, my eyes are glued to the tv! i'm a hopeless tv addict!
in the midst of idling around and watching tv, i still find time to do some serious work : ) i did my homework for the upcoming appointment on monday. did all the research and obtain all the relevant information to help my client make a better and well-informed decision. at the end of the day, it's all about meeting the needs of my client. it makes me happy & satisfied, knowing that my client's needs are fulfilled. that to me, is most important. i'm all ready for my appointment tomorrow! wish me luck!

even the pictures look so delicious! muahaha~ he bought me pastries from Dino Cake House cos' i was feeling a lil blue yesterday and that was a clever attempt to make me happy all over again! : ) heh. i love the fruit tarts and they're so addictive i finished one box all by myself! whee~
and oh, i passed my last insurance paper! lalala~ yay! after today, i will have the passport to start on my career! this is so excitin'! : ) i love my job *beams*
come next week, i'll be starting to meet some of my friends to talk to them about insurance and at the same time catch up on our lives : ) ppl around me have been really supportive and encouraging : ) i will do my best. nothing less than the very best is good enough. trust me to take care of all your insurance needs!
i shall give myself a small break this weekend. indulge in good food, do some light reading, go to church, watch tv, cycling by the beach and do all the simple things in life. life is gonna get busy starting july and as for now, i shall take time off this weekend to do all the things i wanna do! : )
ah zi, enjoy your last weekend too!!! stop buying clothes already, wait for me! lol~ catch up with u next week! and anyway, i bought the toothpaste @ watson for only $6+, i think there's some promo going on! there's sales everywhere! shokudo & canele next week? muahaha~

despite the horrendously hot weather, we stick to our plan and proceed to Jalan Kayu to have our prata cravings satisfied. : ) i especially like the egg prata, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside! heavenly.
i'm gonna start on some serious work today, to prepare myself for next week's appointments. everything will be customized to cater to the individual needs of each client. this naturally means more work, but everything is all worthwhile & i take pride in what i do! : ) i wanna be able to add value to people's life, that is how i deem success.
i've been working on some excel spreadsheets for the past few days for one of my client-to-be! i've taken the initiative to help him look through his company's insurance policy and decided to go a step further by doing up a few spreadsheets to help him better understand what his company is offering : ) i hope it helps!
alright, i better get going! i'm full of zest i am all ready to go!

oh yes! and a preview of my wardrobe! : ) all my clothes are neatly organized into two respective categories - corporate and casual wear. i love how the wardrobe has so many compartments to put all my other stuff, but nothing beats a walk-in wardrobe! *winks* lol~

Saturday was spent with my mommy. we went to Long Beach for a sumptuous dinner which consists of prawns, kangkong and chilli crab! whee~ i've been wanting to eat chilli crab for the longest time and i finally got my cravings fulfilled! yummy! u should have seen how greedy i look! : )
it's a pity my sister couldn't join us. but it's alright, there's always next time :)
at times i cant help but think that i'm so blessed. cos' i've many good and supportive friends all around me, people who believe in me much more than i believe in myself. trust that i will not disappoint, i will do my best & that's a promise. thank you friends! : )

went cycling with songyi @ east coast park today! i love the sun! really nice to see songyi again after so long, and we just kept talking & talking & talking : ) i enjoyed myself today *beams* this is a friend to keep, thank you songyi! : )
i got a new watch! been looking high and low for a watch which will be formal enough for work and tadah! finally found it yesterday at city chain! i totally heart this watch! thank u soooo much! : )
life has been really great for me! i really have no complaints : )
come next week, i will be meeting a couple of my friends to do up a financial health check for them! i'm sooo excited! : ) my career is about to take off, and i am looking forward to everything that is to come! Teach me, i wanna learn all i can! :)

Met Ah Zi @ Raffles City as we make our way to Shokudo for some good food! we ate mushroom and cheese omelet (MUST TRY! yummy!), Pork Katsu, Bacon and Prawn Stick & some dumplings. I'm glad the food didn't disappoint and i give it 2 thumbs up! Thanks for the treat gal : )
Over lunch, Me & Ah Zi talked about everything under the sun, moon and sea. Lynda joined us shortly and it's the first time Ah Zi and Lynda are meeting face-to-face! I'm happy they hit off well! : ) They know each other virtually (through my blog and my constant mentioning of their respective names) and today, they finally got to meet each other! whee~ Thanks Lynda for the beautiful dress and bag from bkk, i love it! : ) Let's meet up after you come back from Genting yeah, enjoy ya trip dear! *hugs*
After a hearty meal, Ah Zi and me decided to go over to NineWest to see if there're any pretty shoes since Ah Zi, as a VIP cardholder is entitled to 40% off regular priced items! How can we resist that? *winks* we scurried to NineWest and as you might have already guessed it, we ended up buying something from the shop. Ah Zi got her mom a really pretty bag (so sweet of her!) and I got myself a pair of working shoe (love @ first sight!). I lay my eyes on the shoe quite some time back but it comes with a price tag of $175! Today, i got it at $105! Whee~ I love my new shoe! *beams*
Bought a dress at GG<5 for $150 and 4 long sleeved shirts and a skirt from G2000 and at the end of the day, I spent a grand total of about $400 on my corporate wear and working shoe : ) no heart pain, nothing. for the money is well-spent. *smiles*
I love shopping with this gal of mine. She is my shopping buddy and girl-friend forever : ) Thank you Ah Zi *hugs*
I am so happy today : ) I have wonderful friends all around me.
To digress a lil, I'm currently reading this book and i'm totally hooked to it! : ) a very good read - empowering and motivational. It offers the blueprint for success and the way to building lasting interpersonal relationships.

our last day in Taiwan can be described in one word - pathetic! muahaha~ we were only left with NT 100 (combined, and that's equivalent to about SG$5) and it's not even enough for a proper meal. lol~ and thank god for credit card, we made our way to this restaurant to have some nice dim sum! : )
I spent about $2,500 in all - inclusive of air ticket, accommodation, food & endless shoppin'! The gerls made all the difference, I enjoyed myself totally. Thank you YiTing, YiJing & Lynda for making this trip such an enjoyable one! : ) *hugs*
On a totally random note ..
Whee~ I passed the most difficult paper of all - Health Insurance Paper. Now, it calls for a celebration! : ) & today i resumed my driving lessons, after a month of hiatus. today is a long day indeed, but at the same time, i feel tremendously happy! heh.
& yeah, I safely graduated from NTU with a second upper *beams* now i can focus on building my career : ) i'm thrilled at the thought of it. i'm already preparing myself for it, i wanna to do all i can for my clients, nothing less : )
i really think i deserve some retail therapy : ) i've been very disciplined since i came back from Taiwan, no addition to my bursting wardrobe! muahaha~ maybe it's time for some GSS shoppin'! *smiles to Ah zi*

HELLO EVERYONE! I'm back!
I've been really busy for the past weeks, living everyday to the fullest. Attending insurance classes, catching up with friends, you name it : )
My new chapter in life is about to begin (on 1st July) and I'm learning all I possibly can now! The process of acquiring knowledge is just awesome and in the midst of it, I've made some really good pals! I love my classmates, they're a bunch of outgoing and fun-lovin' peeps! : ) Let's all work hard together!
I'm lovin' it! I love all that I'm doing now, and that's enough : )
Alright, I'm gonna study for my exams this friday! Till the next time! Ah zi, GSS shopping next week k? : )
