After procrastinating and rationalizing with myself for so long, i decided that today shall be the day i get some donuts for all my hardworking seniors @ EY. I want it to be a total SURPRISE for them, doesnt everyone just love surprises? : )
i met up with my favorite senior and got her to help me distribute the donuts to the rest of the seniors! : ) she is more like a fren to me. we promise to keep in contact through sms or msn! and each time without fail, she will ALWAYS ask if i have a bf. she is still persistent thou' she always gets the same old answer. heh. we can talk about anything under the sun and at times, i will just msg her 'I MISS YOU!' on a totally random basis and her answer will be - JOIN THE GST TEAM! i can almost predict what she's gonna say! haha she is still my favorite senior : ) shortly after she went up, i received many 'thank you' sms-es and this has got to be the most UNEXPECTED ...
"Hi summer did not see u at the NTU recruitment night. Thanks for the lovely donuts. Let us know when u are next in this area. *** and I would like to buy u lunch. Btw why do u have two mobile numbers?"
This message is from the PARTNER! OMG I was shocked BEYOND WORDS and i just stood rooted to the ground when i saw this message! *** is another partner and for confidentiality purposes, i shall not reveal his name : ) this came totally unexpected.
my favorite senior told me that the partner mentioned to her about persuading me to join the team. heh. poor senior, she is straddled between the two of us! muahaha~ but most probably i will return to EY during the December holidays to assist them but i kept forgetting to call the partners to confirm! i'm sucha lazy bone.
i feel so loved by my seniors : )
alright i'm gonna sleep early today, down with sore eyes : ( i needa rest and stop worrying about work, for a moment.
