Today is a
beautiful &
wonderful &
fruitful &
smooth-sailing day! Everything went on as planned and the feeling of it is just amazing! : )
For my second major - HR, I had to do this phone interview with Singtel to understand the performance measurement in the company. Before I pick up my mobile and dial their headquarter's hotline, I know for myself that chances are slim and I have already braced myself for rejection. But lo and behold, the HR person was quite friendly and she attended to me after I promised her that she does not have to divulge private and specific information to me! She's a nice lady and she answered all my questions, some of which I thought were quite confidential hehe. I managed to trick her into answering it after going around the bush! : ) MUAHAHA!
Met up with Lynda to do some eyebrow threading in Clementi. Wah, I tell you, it's
FREAKING PAINFUL! Tears were welling in my eyes and I almost wanted to give up halfway through the threading process, but not wanting to give Lynda a chance to laugh at me, I endured the pain and go through the entire ordeal. Thankfully, everything ended in less than 5 minutes (thank god!) and now my eyebrown is nicely trimmed and in very good shape. At least it was worth the pain : )
It is only the first week of school and I am plagued with millions of readings, assignment, project deadlines and what not. And I thought first week of school should be light-hearted and start with just a lil self introduction and maybe some introduction to the module? The profs are beginning to scare us with the massive amount of readings and assignments!
It's time for a breather and I will be going to bangkok in about 9 hours time! WheeeE, cant wait! : )
