In the latter part of the twentieth century, when women were discovering their freedoms and often regarding men as their enemy, relationships and families regularly came under enormous strain.
In the PAST, their roles were very much clearly defined. Man, as the head of the house, the principal breadwinner, the provider, the protector and his word was law.
On the other hand, this wife was the mother, housekeeper and caregiver.
The roles were clear cut and well defined. Life WAS just so simple.
But that's not the end.
Everything began to change, suddenly, as fast or even faster than the flash of the lightning.
Men (not all) are now seen as incompetent in the face of more intelligent and superior women. More and more women embraced the call of equality. We wanted quality in the workplace to prove our worth. Whatever the men can do, we can do as well, if not, we can accomplish it much better than men do.
The trouble was that women seemed to know where they wanted and where they were going, while sadly, many men were left behind.
We call each other opposite sex for a reason - we are opposite.
